Bike Everywhere Day - Redmond

Event description: Click here to read about Bike Everywhere Day

We're looking for a Station Volunteer to pick up supplies from the Cascade office before this event and drop them back off at the office afterwards. Please email volunteer@cascade.org if you are able to do this!

Role description: To build a network of support and fun for the thousands of cyclists on Bike Everywhere Day, Cascade Bicycle Club and our local partners host dozens of celebration stations along major bike routes in the region. We've provided our station hosts with suggestions on how to host no-contact stations and we encourage everyone to follow local public health guidance.

Tasks we'll need help with:

  • Assist in unloading supplies (tent, tables, chairs, swag) that staff bring to the site
  • Staff the celebration stations, welcoming people as they bike through, sharing swag, answering questions/directing questions to the station lead
  • Assist in breaking down the stations - taking down tent and tables and returning all items to the van

Orientation: No orientation is required. We'll go over everything you need to know at the event.

Youth Policy: We ask that youth under the age of 15 years old be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can supervise tasks and that you contact the event organizer beforehand to verify the availability of child friendly positions.
