Opportunity Name:
Tuesday Evening Vaccine Clinics

Description:

Join our team to help educate and vaccinate!

At the vaccination clinics we have volunteer opportunities to educate the public on mandated requirements for their pets as well as programs and services offered at Kern County Animal Services.

While volunteering at the clinic you will be able to interact with members of the public and their animals.

We are looking for volunteers for the following areas:

Data Entry: We use Cell phones and I pad for data entry. IF you are tech savvy, this may be for you. This role involves speaking to the public and entering information into our database. It's super easy and we will train you.

Vaccination/ Vet Assist:  Volunteers at this area will be able to be hands on depending on skill level. You will learn how to draw up a vaccination and scan animals for microchips. If you are comfortable you could also hold animals for the medical staff or administer vaccinations,

Setup and Take Down: Setting up equipment needed at the clinic / Break down and storing of the equipment.

If you would like to come out to see how the clinic works Email me to set up a shadow date.
