Opportunity Details | Quality Control Food Sorting & Packing - Kings Hwy Facility
Opportunity Name:
Quality Control Food Sorting & Packing - Kings Hwy Facility |
|
Description:
Volunteers are the heart and soul of any non-profit organization and here at Treasure Coast Food Bank, we take pride in offering a meaningful experience while making new friends along the way.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, TCFB receives food donations on a regular basis and with some simple training, our volunteers are able to sort, inspect, and pack those food items so that they are ready to go out to our partner agencies.
Joining the fun is easy, simply click on the day and time you want to volunteer, complete the registration page and you are ready to go.
Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, we have limited the number of open positions each day, so that we can follow all CDC guidelines for social distancing. Our goal is to keep our staff and volunteers safe and healthy.
Volunteers must be at least 8 years of age with adult supervision. 16 and older are able to work without supervision. For your safety, closed toe shoes are required.
