Volunteers are needed in Indian River and St. Lucie County.
We need volunteers to help 8:30am -3:30pm Tues-Friday with our ‘Market Fresh on the Move’ mobile grocery truck –“ Ira” that runs in Indian River. Our team visits Central Vero on Tuesday, Gifford on Wednesday, Oslo on Thursday, and Fellsmere on Friday. You will help with setting up each site, serving clients and inventory. Volunteers must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs., and assist with stair pull down & lift up on the truck.
On the days you volunteer, you can either meet the Mobile Grocery at the site location or join the unit at its homebase at our TCFB facility in St. Lucie Co. at 8:30 am- 401 Angle Rd Fort Pierce. This is a ride-along opportunity and a 5-7 hour shift per day.
This is a great opportunity to help your community and assist us in feeding the Treasure Coast!
