Description:
We're controlling invasive species! We'll pull garlic mustard. This effort is key to the health of wildlife corridors.
Duties: Volunteers will be bending, pulling weeds, and some lifting. Gloves and tools will be provided. Poison ivy may be present, so we recommend wearing a hat, long sleeves, and long pants. Bring a water bottle!
Training: On-site training is provided.
Age of Volunteers: All Ages (Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.) Volunteers under the age of 18 must have an Underage Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian. CLICK HERE to complete our digital waiver.
Please Note: If you are planning to use this opportunity for community corrections/public restitution hours, you MUST complete this background check form and receive approval from our Community Relations Coordinator PRIOR to arriving for your first volunteer shift. Failure to do so will result in your hours not being counted towards your service requirement. |
