Help Refugee Youth with Math -Time Slots

Population Served:   Children, youth,  refugees, immigrants

 

Position Description: Work one-on-one or in small groups with students grades K-8 to improve their math skills. Students start with their times tables and move up in levels. The work on math in a variety of ways, worksheets, math games, and other activities that make math fun. 

 

Key Responsibilities: Help the kids complete their work and facilitate any games or activities for your student or group. 

 

Time: 6:30 - 8pm every Wednesday

 

Position Requirements: 

Completed Catholic Charities Volunteer Application (including background check), Volunteer Orientation (1), and review the Volunteer Handbook and return the Handbook Fillable Signature Page form (2).

Time Commitment: 1.5, 6:30-8pm

 

Position Works Well for: Individuals, adults,  teens, students, educators, tutors

 

You will find free street parking nearby/behind/in front of the Kateri Park and Esperanza Court buildings.
