Description:

An Adult Day Program Volunteer will assist program participants in socially and cognitively stimulating activities.

  • Engages in group activities with individuals who are frail and/or memory impaired
  • Socialize with participants in an energetic and creative manner 
  • Assist program coordinator and assistants with all aspects of program 
  • Assist with Let’s Do Lunch, Friendship Circle and other programs as assigned. 
  • This is weekly commitment, usually a 4-hour shift, volunteer must be very dependable
  • Must have clean background check
  • Experience working with impaired and/or memory impaired individuals a plus.

 Sid Jacobson JCC is a national leader in providing care for those suffering from Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, or another degenerative illnesses. We specialize in early stage and social adult day programs for seniors who are 60+ that are frail and memory impaired. In addition, we offer programs for those in their 30s, 40s, and 50s with Young Onset Dementia including Frontal Temporal Lobe Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
