| Description:
Seeking volunteer to be a walking companion for a client in the Nancy Marx Cancer Wellness Center (NMCWC) Walking Group when they walk at the Nassau County Museum of Art (across from JCC) every Thursday morning from 10am-11am.
Client walks with a cane and needs a slow walking companion. The volunteer would walk alongside them while they walk the loop at museum.
If it's raining, the group walks the JCC indoor track.
Every Thursday 10am-11am Nassau County Museum of Art
Adult volunteers only. To volunteer for this opportunity, you must have completed a volunteer application/profile, had a volunteer intake appointment, and be cleared to volunteer. If you have any problems signing up, please contact Linda Samet at Lsamet@sjjcc.org.
